Trek focusses on the holistic development of the learners. In Classes 3 to 5, the geography section makes the learner aware of geographical landforms, important concepts and terminology while developing mapping and spatial skills. It also covers world geography and the natural resources of India. The history section helps students to understand how historians use different sources to understand the past and how timelines help us to relate and recall important dates in history. It gives the students an overview of the history of India, supplemented by biographical sketches of prominent historical personalities. The civics chapters impart civic sense to the students so that they become aware citizens. They also provide a basic understanding of how the government works.
