Corporate Social Responsibility

As a department of the University of Oxford, OUP is itself part of a charity and all our activities help to fulfil our shared mission. At OUP, we attempt to make a difference to people’s lives by promoting literacy, learning, and great teaching. Being a mission-led organization, with more than 6,000 people across 50 countries, we are mindful of our wider impact on society.

OUP India’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy (CSR Policy) sets out a framework and guiding principles for CSR & charitable initiatives. The policy aims to identify critical areas of development, mainly in the context of education, that require support and intervention and which can help to realize the objective of overall social and economic growth.
