Objective-based approach and mutual awareness will allow teachers/parents and students to have a clear picture of the learning outcome. It would also help teachers in adjusting teaching methods to facilitate achievements of their goals. ● Motivational activity: exercises that act as an introduction to the chapter through varied forms such as activities and riddles ● Simple, structured contents: graded and level-specific content which meets the curricular expectations at the primary level ● Glossary/New words: provides a ready reference for some difficult terms ● In-text questions: checks the understanding of the concepts learnt Each lesson will have 1–3 in-text questions which will be thoughtfully placed in areas where the teacher can pause and assess the understanding of the students as they read.
