OUP India employees donate winter clothes to underprivileged children (December 2017)
In December, OUP organized an employee donation drive to collect woolen caps, gloves and socks for children at Literacy India, a charity that OUP partners in India.
The donations from employees were supplemented by supplies from office. This drive was in response to the charity’s request to help smaller children with woolens as they miss school during the cold weather. On 22nd December, a few volunteers from OUP’s Noida (Delhi) office visited the charity to handover the donations directly to children. The children welcomed OUP colleagues with a dance and musical performance.
